COVID-19 Update from NEWW Packaging & Display

COVID-19 Update NEWW Packaging & Display

Safety is a priority at NEWW. As an essential business our doors have remained open throughout the pandemic. COVID-19 has created many new challenges, but we have worked hard to ensure the safety of our employees while we continue to operate.

We have implemented numerous safety and sanitary procedures to deter the spread of the virus in the factory and office many of which we will keep even after the pandemic. Daily sanitation of all contact surfaces, using Protexus Electrostatic sprayers, mandatory facemasks, social distancing as well as separating shifts to minimize the number of people crossing paths. We continue to maintain our safety training programs online with few sessions in person, with smaller socially distanced classes. We have also opened a new employee breakroom and entrance with enough seating to socially distance while eating, complete with micro market, new restrooms, and handwashing station. While NEWW has limited its facilities to visitors and contractors during this time, we hope to open ourselves up more soon with vaccination rates on the rise.

The availability of raw materials remains a significant concern across the industry. Many vendors of paper, glue, ink and other materials are experiencing severe difficulties and are restricting deliveries of these important ingredients. We continue to monitor these problems and build up inventory of these items to mitigate the risks of a strained supply chain.

NEWW Packaging & Display would like to share a huge thank you to its employees for working so hard during these difficult times. We would also like to thank our customers for their patience and commitment. We look forward to continued growth and some return to normalcy in the future!
