Attention to Detail Matters
One area where this has been proven to be true for our company is in the foundation of each printing press. The machines that print, cut, and glue our products are often placed upon steel rails attached to the concrete below. When these rails are properly installed, level and true the machine will perform better and last longer.
The floor of our factory has many scribelines that have been established by the General Manager and the Maintenance department over the years. It is not uncommon to see David at his computer, modifying the CAD drawing of our factory and then peering through his transit, day after day, when a new press is about to come in the door. The two-color 66 x 110 Ward diecutter shown in these pictures was purchased used, refurbished in-house and then placed onto new rails this past spring.
We are excited to add this rejuvenated press to our factory and know that it will make a significant contribution to our business for many years to come.
